 Before the Lok Sabha elections, bombs have been discovered at three separate locations in Domkal, Murshidabad. Two bags and a bucket filled with explosives were unearthed from different sites in Raipur, Domkal, while bomb-making materials were seized from Ghoramara Nischinpur. These discoveries have heightened tensions in the area as voting for the Murshidabad Lok Sabha constituency is scheduled for May 7.

The recovery of explosives prompted swift action from law enforcement, with bomb disposal squads mobilized to defuse the bombs and police maintaining vigilance at the affected sites to prevent any potential incidents. Villagers are reportedly fearful in the wake of these discoveries, prompting an investigation by the Domkal police station into the circumstances surrounding the placement of the bombs.
